PHOTOGRAPHER'S ARTISTIC INTENTION:

The decision to work with photographic imagery alongside artificial intelligence was based purely on instinct. I saw the technology as a catalyst and a progression to the medium. Also a way to challenge monotony in everyday social media feeds. I intended to use AI as a disrupter to my work and to challenge the question of authenticity. I also wanted to give myself a unique experience of rewriting the narrative using my thoughts and feelings to be considered as a driving force. 

To most, the images seem random, and they may not understand the underlying meaning of my photograph. This work is about what is happening in real life and how absurd it is to witness such things on social media. It's all based on ideas and personal fears; rapid climate acceleration, memes, personal experiences, sin, and human-wildlife conflict. As a longtime volunteer for a wildlife rescue @wildbirdfund in New York City, I also wanted to show the relationship and connection that I personally have with animals. I intended the viewer to question whether or not these things can happen in real life and if they aren't already happening.
