JARED MENANE: On your social media account, you have posted images of pigeons, what’s the deal with the pigeon?
EARL CAVE: It’s one pigeon. He’s a regular at this cafe I go to. He’s my friend. Little bastard is always late though.
JM: Who are some of your main creative influences?
EC: Burt Bacharach, Harry Nilsson and Robert Downey Sr.
JM: Any plans to move behind the camera in the future?
EC: Sure, I’d like that. We shall see…
JM: You seem like someone that would have creative projects subtly scattered across the web, would you care to drop any hints?
EC: Oh yea, there’s stuff out there. There may be a folk-punk album we made for True History of the Kelly Gang… maybe
JM: Do you have a finsta?
EC: I don’t, no… or do I?
JM: What are you listening to lately?
EC: Bit of Roger Miller, bit of The Fall, bit of it all!
JM: Beer or wine?
EC: Beer
JM: Ever been to Texas?
EC: Nope
JM: What do you like about New York?
EC: Rats
JM: Big wedding or small?
EC: Bit early for that don’t you think?
JM: Do you believe in magic?
EC: Of course I do

EC: No but I believe in that stuff

EC: The Chronology of Water - A wonderful portrait of Lydia Yuknavich directed by the amazing Kristen Stewart. What a joy!
JM: What's the character you portray in the HBO series, Dune: Prophecy?
EC: I play Griffin Harkonnen - what a guy!
HBO streaming series, Dune: Prophecy made its premiere on November 17, 2024, available for viewing now. It is set to conclude with its sixth episode on December 22, 2024.
